Subject: Important Service Notice: Implementation of Handling Fees for Large and Oversize Shipments

We appreciate your continued trust in Neighborhood Parcel as your secure drop-off location for FedEx, UPS, and FedEx pre-paid returns. As always, our goal is to provide you with a smooth and efficient service that meets your shipping needs. In light of recent challenges, including limited storage capacity and labor shortages, as well as a focus on reducing injury risk to our dedicated employees, we find it necessary to introduce a handling fee for large and oversize shipments.
Effective immediately, we will be implementing a modest handling fee for large and heavy parcels that are dropped off at our location. This is to cover the increased resource requirements these packages demand:
- For parcels exceeding 20 inches in their longest dimension, a $5 handling fee will be applied.
- For shipments weighing over 20 lbs, a $10 handling fee will be applied.

Please note, these fees will be applied per package and are required at the time of drop-off. This change allows us to continue to provide you with the quality service you expect, while ensuring the well-being of our staff and the efficient management of our facilities. We understand that this update may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. I am glad this location is near my house. I can do all my business here and be in and out in minutes. On my last visit, I was able to have them print my documents, notarize them, fax them back to my office then FedEx the originals to my boss. Awesome!
